Beeman “ Huggie” Logan, of Basom, on February 6, 2018. He was born in Batavia, NY on December 1, 1941 to the late Beeman Sr. and Arlene (Blueye) Logan.
Huggie was a 1962 graduate of Akron Central High School and a member of the Bear Clan. When he was younger, he loved running, playing basketball, and lacrosse. He was an expert silversmith and enjoyed bird watching and woodworking. Huggie was well known for making turtle rattles.
Survived by beloved Children Linley (Iris) Logan, Lyle (Serious) Logan, Leslie Logan and Colleen (Kevin) Logan-Bruce. Loving grandchildren Graham “Oshna” Logan, Sage Logan, Elton Logan, Yanenowi Logan, Seneca Logan, Colton “Dodie” Logan, Trenton Logan, Eliana Bruce, Arilena Bruce and Lyla Logan. A brother, James “Luffus” (Patti) Logan, a sister,Linda Logan and many nieces and nephews also survive him. A grandaughter, Savannah Logan, and a sister, Gaye Logan predeceases him.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 8, 2018 and on Friday, February 9, until the time of Service at 1:00 pm at 6987 Council House Road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, followed by a Long House Service at 2:00 p.m.
