Donald Earl Erbes entered into rest on June 12, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, NY on November 22, 1935 to the late Earl and Doris (Brawn) Erbes.
Donald served our country in the Navy during the Korean War. He and MaryAnn Lochocki were married on February 15, 1958. Donald worked as a tool and dye inspector until his retirement and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and clever pranks. He enjoyed, horse racing, perch fishing, and woodworking which he learned in his later years. His specialty was building custom wine racks and selling them to Wegman's.
Beloved husband of Mary Ann Erbes; dear father of Don (Palma) Erbes, and Karen Burdick; cherished grandfather of Christina Lazzaro, Amber Burdick, and Nick Burdick, Don is also survived by two brothers, Gerald (Karen) Erbes and Wayne (Judy) Erbes as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter, Pam Lazzaro, a grandson, Michael Burdick, and a brother, Richard "Dicky" Erbes.
Friends and relatives may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at Noon. Memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, 1540 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221.
