Lorraine Stanley

Lorraine Stanley entered into rest on June 12, 2018. Born on September 2, 1937 to the late Charles and Ella Marie (Fountain) Pelkey.

Lorraine attended Akron High School and married the late Elmer H. Stanley and they had four children together. She dedicated her life to being a housewife and a wonderful mother. She loved Bingo, Word Search books, and was especially fond of playing the card game "Garbage" with family and friends.

She was the beloved wife of the late of Elmer H. Stanley; dear mother of Elmer Stanley and Denise (Bob) Muhlenbeck; cherished grandmother of Keith Muhlenbeck II.  Lorraine is also survived by a brother, Chuck (Martha) Pelkey and a sister, Shirley Jacobs as well as many cousins and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Tracy Stanley and a daughter, Jeannette Stanley, as well as a brother, Bill Pelkey.

Friends and relatives may call from 2 -4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC, 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron where a Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
