Sharon Brayley, of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 21, 2018. She was born in Batavia on August 24, 1943 to the late Uriah and Elaine (Moses) Printup.
She was a member of the Turtle Clan and the Second Brigade Motorcycle Club (Veterans). She worked for Native American Community Services for many years. In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed beading and creative crafts.
Her beloved husband Danny Brayley; loving children, Sheila Sundown, Grant (Janell) Sundown, Shawn Sundown; dear sisters, Annajean (Lance) Blackchief and Adrienne Printup; cherished daughter-in-law, Shyanne; 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren survive her. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Sharon is predeceased by a son, Lonni Sundown.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, April 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, April 25 at the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church, 565 Bloomingdale Road, Basom.
